TeamJara takes data protection seriously. We are a UK registered company operating in full accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all personal data processed through our managed background services.
TeamJara acts as a data processor on behalf of our clients, supporting them with operational and background services that may involve limited personal data such as user contact details, ticket data or reporting information. We do not process sensitive or special category data and only handle information required to deliver our contracted services.
We apply a layered approach to security that includes:
Strict access controls and multi factor authentication
Company managed and encrypted devices
Centralised monitoring through our endpoint management platform
Continuous staff training on data protection and confidentiality
Documented incident response and breach notification procedures
All work is performed within client authorised systems using secure, company controlled devices.
All TeamJara staff are engaged directly and trained in GDPR awareness and information security. We use a small number of trusted technology partners for secure connectivity, endpoint protection and business tools. Each partner is vetted and bound by contractual data processing agreements that meet Article 28 UK GDPR standards.
As a processor, we support our clients in fulfilling data subject rights under Articles 15 to 22 UK GDPR, including access, rectification, restriction and erasure requests. We notify clients of any confirmed data breach within 24 hours and report notifiable incidents to the ICO within 72 hours when required.
