  • Clients and Business Contacts: Name, job title, company, business address, business email/phone, comms preferences, contracts, project requirements, billing, correspondence.
  • Website Visitors: Contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, job alerts, survey responses, event registration.

TeamJara primarily operates in the UK. If data is transferred outside the UK, we use Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, security measures, or obtain your explicit consent. You have a right to request details of safeguards.

We retain your data only as long as needed for its purpose or legal obligations. Typical periods:

  • Unsuccessful candidate data: 6-12 months (with consent)
  • Employee data: duration of employment + 6 years
  • Payroll/tax: 6 years minimum
  • Health & safety: up to 40 years (if required)
  • DBS checks: 6 months
  • Client contracts: 6-7 years after end

Data is securely deleted/anonymized after retention. Extended retention only if required by law or on request.
